i will be out of town until next tuesday. anyone wishing to continue the
resolution analysis on real data should do so.

1) update BlastLib2 in your CVS
2) copy the wc_res.C macro in ~blast/pro2004/analysis/macros into your
   directory
3) analyze

the wc_res.C macro draws a plot of:

   p_{Recon} - p(theta_{Recon})

i have not been quoting this value; i have been quoting:

  100% * (p_{Recon} - p(theta_{Recon})/p(theta_{Recon})

so you might want to change the macro.

if you want to analyze monte carlo data, make sure the appropriate flag
(WTDC) in the fort.99 file is set for 6th order distance-to-time
relations. then run the monte carlo and crunch it (lrn -m). to analyze
it, look in the following directory for a file called "resAnalyze.C":

/scratch/bud03/ajmasch/BLASTCVS/RESANALYSIS/run

change the name of the crunched monte carlo "lr-0.root" file to
"test.root" and run the macro. it's pretty simple, short, and
straightforward.
