Hi Folks-

Well after my remarks of being overly selective in my desire to speak
about E94-013, it was conveyed to me during the that this journal
club should really be about something beyond one's thesis research.

Therefore I will invest time into trying to understand the following
paper:

Bethe-Salpeter amplitudes and static properties of the deuteron
L. P. Kaptari, A. Yu. Umnikov, S. G. Bondarenko, K. Yu. Kazakov, F.
C. Khanna, and B. Kämpfer
Phys. Rev. C 54, 986-1005 (1996)

This seems like a good paper for the journal club. I think the basic idea
is that it compares calculations of the deuteron static properties done with
Bethe-Salpeter amplitudes (relativistic QFT bound state stuff) with
that of the non-relativistic wave function approach.

Not sure how deep I can get into this but will do my best for July 28th.

                                                Pete
