here are some d(e,e'p)n missing mass and missing momentum plots that i was
thinking about sending to John (ulp, i guess i just did).
to those who care, these plots are all of the polarized deuterium data
taken since the thursday before the 4th of july weekend. the missing mass
used to peak differently in the two sectors (the left peaked at 0.977GeV
while the right peaked at 0.940 (i.e. the mass of the neutron)). however,
the new data shows that both distributions now peak at 0.939 as they
should. i don't know if this "correction" has to do with the recrunch or
what.
the second plot is of missing momentum per Q2 bin as compared to an empty
target. (the third plot is just a high-missing-momentum zoomed-in version
of the second plot). you can see that we appear to NOT be background
dominated until around 0.5 GeV, maybe (still not enough empty target
statistics to make too much sense of it yet).
