i have attached two plots of the beam-vector dilution since june 30th
(i.e. the end of the most-recent shutdown).
1) the first plot (vec_dil.ps) is the dilution for each day in july.
the one low-lying point is a result of a day when we had little data
taken ( < 2kC).
2) the second plot (vec_dil_3_day.ps) is the dilution for 3-day-sums of
data (i.e. july 3, 4, and 5, july 6, 7, and 8, etc.). it is very
constant. the last point doesn't have too much data in it yet, so i
don't know if the visible upward shift in dilution is real.
