Just a quick thought; has anyone run gprof over a typical DGen session
coupled to Monte Carlo to see where the true bottle-necks are? I would
love to see this. They might be trivial to eliminate. Alex Skabelin
removed such tight spots from a commercial code, speeding it up by
a factor of 10 (and thereby increased his salary by the same factor I guess :)
