[BLAST_SHIFTS] Shift summary 03/27/2005 B (9-17)

From: Electronic Log Book (elog@blast05.lns.mit.edu)
Date: Sun Mar 27 2005 - 16:48:14 EST

Operator: clasie

Running with ABS Deuterium all shift.

At 1pm after resetting from the 9th run, the TS did not respond on prestart. I could not find information in the documentation, and Karen told me how to reboot the TS.

On several occasions there was a bad fill with low lifetime, the WC scalers would go up near 70 and the detectors would trip. These runs were noted in the paper and elog. At 2.50pm CCR needed to lower the injection current from 215mA to 210mA (and they adjusted the dump current). This helped with the frequency of bad fills, although there was at least one more after this change.

The shift started with R24 at -3800V. It was raised to -3825V at noon. L21 was lowered to -3825V with all of the trips around 2.30pm. All WC voltages were set to nominal at 4pm after a quiet period.

The data from the B shift yesturday was analyzed using show_deep_asym_all_47.C and here are the dilutions were:
             0.774 +- 0.052 0.590 +- 0.034
