[BLAST_SHIFTS] Daily BLAST meeting

From: Taylan Akdogan (akdogan@MIT.EDU)
Date: Tue May 03 2005 - 15:38:47 EDT

- The detector is closed
- Blast and holding fields are off
- The hall is closed

There will be a short controlled access for an undergraduate
tour.

The beam will be tuned for field-off state. We'll use unpol
hydrogen with fields off for the calibration data overnight.
Getting the maximum current is not critical, so we'll take
whatever the current we can get (50-100mA should be fine.)

Compton will use this time to check the systematic effects of the
absorber. The thickness of the absorber will be changed
automatically every other fill. This should not effect any other
component of the blast and/or beam.

Taylan
