We focused on the status of outer detector calibrations and recrunch, see
presentation by MK.
Calibration and recrunch:
- Work on 2005 timing calibration in progress. Still using same walk and
flasher calibrations like 2004.
- First lrd-recrunch of 2005 data complete (took 4 days)
- There are periods without flasher signals in the data
- Will recrunch again when new walk and flasher calib from cosmics are
complete
- Resume work on 2004 calibrations thereafter
Mark Steadman presented a new macro tool to display contents of the
database. It display any numerical quantity of any database table versus a
specified range of runs. (Will be made available at a central location)
Miscellaneous:
- 2005 e,e'n data will *not* be ready for conference approval at the
steering committee meeting next week.
+ need to iterate recrunch for timing (see above)
+ need updated Montecarlo (2005 geometry, spin angle map)
+ need hPz for 2005
Goal is to achieve preliminary results for September conferences.
- Discussion about upcoming meetings:
+ We agreed to keep the frequency of meeting once every week
+ Meetings are informal, people are encouraged to openly discuss their
tasks, issues and concerns
+ We'll continue to have topical reviews
+ Upcoming topics: Magnetic field measurements, wire chamber
reconstruction, pion production analysis, Blast Montecarlo, Radiative
effects, ...

> Hi,
>
> we are meeting on Wednesday 2005/07/06 at 10am in the conference room.
> Focus this time will be the status of outer detector calibration.
>
> I will review the strategy how to get to proper timing, show where we are
> right now and what the tasks for the coming weeks are.
>
> Mark Steadman has worked on the 2005 run-by-run calibration
> and on the communication to the mysql-database and will report abbout some
> new features.
>
> The status of recrunch will be reviewed.
>
>
>
> This is the last "small" meeting before the collaboration meeting. There
> will be a "big" all-day analysis meeting on Wednesday, July 13, 2005.
>
> We should also discuss the agendas of the forthcoming meetings.
