On shift: Bill Franklin, June Matthews
Program of documenting energy spectrum and false asymmetry as function of
beam current, absorber thickness, and waveplate status. Large false
asymmetry noted in last night's shift summary is pretty much flat as
function of gamma ray energy and is uncorrelated with
waveplate status. It appears to be due to an incorrect normalization of
background, and not a more fundamental problem (like absorber introducing
it).
