[BLAST_SHIFTS] 10/07/02 morning shift

Hello,

The goal of this shift was to take data with the field on. However, due to
more motor readback problems occuring when the torroid was powered up, this
was not possible. Specifically, the motor readback was reading incorrect
values for the absolute position so that -21.5 mm corresponded to the point
that the wire was hitting the beam halo which is vastly different from
previous values (when the field was off it was -7.5mm). Luis confirmed that
was not due to beam being misaligned. In addition the position that the wire
was hitting the target also varied between fills making it extremely
difficult to take data with the field on especially when trying to be careful
not to create showers. Luis has sent a detailed message to Townsend about
this issue and hopefully it can be fixed tomorrow so that field on data can
be taken this evening.

Therefore, more runs were taken with the field off,
trigger=elastic_tof_wire
