Hi,
the hall is being searched now and it will take a few hrs before
beam can be established back through the storage cell. Here's a plan
me and john made for tonight. The longer goals are
a) study the L/R asymmetry (use the new HV values)
b) study efficiency of the cerenkov, tofs (not tonight)

please follow the plan, no cerenkov's tonight.

_ after beam is established work on cabling the BL neutron coutners should
go on. The HV should be working, remember to turn it off before
connecting any cables (!). Focus on BL first, do BR in parellel (you can
stay in the D tunnel with beam).

_ The cables to the ADC and the CFDs have to be connected. Remember
also to make some scaler connection from the CFD.

_ The BL neutron counters can be put in the trigger (not true for BR where
  the delay is taken out)

_ When all good and done with NC test them for lights leaks. This requires
moderate voltage (so careful), scope monitoring and finally one person
upstairs looking at the visual scalers, one person in the hall (access)
to have the rpos switch off all the lights.

******

_ The reminder of the night should be spent on optimizing the beam tune.
and background rates. Please follow the recipe that I put in the blast
book (the binder with the blast picture in it) and write extensively
in the logbook as these data should serve as a reference.

_ Study rates, analogue of NCounters !

If you have any questions, call me. See you at 8. Regards,
-tancredi

Notes:
------

_ The TDC cables have been replaced and connected. They have all been
measured to be the same (metric) lenght

_ The Wch stops have been disconnected

_ The Cerenkovs are not in, and you don't need them. So, no cerenkov work
  tonight

_ I threw away 99% of the junk laying around the counting bay. If that is
how you keep your stuff, well, then you won't mind if it stays in the
  recycle bin for now.
