[BLAST_ANAWARE] how do you secure copy a file onto blast05 or blast02?

hello, all:

does anyone know how to secure copy a file from a non-Bates computer to
blast05 or blast02? when i try, i always get the following error:

$ scp energy_res.cpp ajmasch@blast05.lns.mit.edu:./
ajmasch@blast05.lns.mit.edu's password: xxxxxxxxxxxx
running .cshrc
stty: standard input: Invalid argument
