Hi!
I am sorry I missed the analysis meeting today, but I have been trying to
finish this... and now I am happy to say that the "final" version of the
MySQL database is ready and I named it "BLAST_physics".

Differences from the previous "BlastTest" database are:

1) We now have information for all the existing detectors, not just TOFs
and CCs;
2) I merged Adam's changes required by his HVGUI (he will need some
minor modifications to his code now);
3) The ADC and TDC crates, slots and channels follow now the
electronics.map (they were fictious before, for illustrating purposes);
4) All the wire chamber information was added (this was a major step, with
a few tables having about a thousand lines);
5) We now have timestamps for the tables that needed them;
6) All available information about cables and optical fibers was added;
7) Permissions were set for users "HVGUI", "ANALYSIS" and "CODA" to access
the tables they need within the new database;
8) The "RUN" table has now a "BatchName" column, to allow the run number
to be reset (start from 1 again, as it was the case in 2003).
9) The "RUN" table was split and tables were created for the trigger,
electronics map, epics map, scaler map.

I hope this is not late (I know people have to modify and test some
codes). I initially estimated this to take two or three weeks, and I
started about 14 days ago... when I had all the information I needed.

This should help us be more organized and keep track of our hardware and
analysis related information better.
It should also help saving hard disk space, with all the redundancies
implied by files eliminated...

Adrian
