Operators: ajmasch egeis ----

ccr initially had beam problems for a few hours. when we got beam, we then had a variety of problems (trigger supervisor crashed, coda crashed, hv gui wouldn't go to standby at refill current level, etc.) eventually, everything worked, and we took data.

we took 0.05 unpolarized deuterium data, but we kept switching the spin bits between the + and - tensor states; we also varied the half plate position for each run.

the good runs are: 1744 - 1747, 1749 - 1752. each run has 500k events in it.

whatever is plugged into the slot 6, channel 8 of the r1 hv crate kept tripping nearly constantly for about an hour. then it fixed itself. whatever...

the wire chambers were fairly well behaved with only occasional trippings from sporadic boxes; their signal to noise ratio was around 2-3 to 1. however, the wc temperature warning went off a few times toward the end of the shift. t5 was around 56.5 degrees. i guess this one set them off. doug said to just ignore it until we couldn't any longer. that time is coming soon, as it sets off the alarmhandler now once every 10-20 seconds.
