more polarized hydrogen data taken. fought a long battle with wire chamber box L21. in the end, it got set to 3570 (as Doug (i think) suggested initially). vitaliy will report on the asymmetry in four hours. i looked a little into the possibility of adding a collimator upstream in front of the target. initial analysis shows that this will greatly eliminate the halo but the overall current will suffer, too. need more statistics to tell anything any better. will work on and report later.
