60cm target cell is in the target chamber, making the final interior
connections this afternoon. Target chamber will be pumped overnight,
cryopumps started. Tomorrow morning final exterior connections will be
made, BLAST will be closed up, and nozzle alignment will be checked. Then
Genya will set up to run ABS deuterium.
Townsend's mass spectrometer/ion clearer has been installed downstream of
the target.
Some more work on the Compton will be done this afternoon by Bill.
The plan is to be running beam before lunch tomorrow. Friday 9am-5pm
shift is ON.
