Please find below the combined results for both cells in elastic eD
channel.
All data can be separated in 3 large runs:
    A. 40 cm cell, polarization at 48 degrees
    B. 60 cm cell, polarization at 48 degrees
    C. 60 cm cell, polarization at 32 degrees

total Q, kc total thickness, a.u Pzz, %
      Pz, %
  A 34.5 1 49.3 +-
3.1 77.2 +- 19.0
  B 48.5 1.3 33.1 +-
2.3 83.6 +- 13.9
  C 41.4 1.35 47.4 +-
3.2 52.3 +- 13.4

As one can see the statistical accuracy for Pz is too low to make
conclusions.
   2 additional remarks:

   1. As you probably already know, a big crack was found in the neck of
the inlet tube
of the 60 cm cell, which would explain insufficient increase in target
thickness. One could
expect factor of 1.8 at least instead of 1.3-1.35 with a fixed
cell.That speaks for continuing
to use 60 cm cell.
   2. When we changed polarization angle ( and increased magnetic field
!!!) tensor polarization
became significanly larger. One may expect similar (although probably
smaller) gain in polarization
for 40 cm cell as well... then we might be better off with 40 cm cell.

We need similar comparison for ep channel to make final decision.
