[BLAST_SHIFTS] daily meeting 3/11/5

From: Michael Kohl (kohlm@mit.edu)
Date: Fri Mar 11 2005 - 15:24:04 EST

The old new target cell will be mounted soon this afternoon. Things should
be closed and ready for pumping by 5:30. It may take up to 24h until we
have nice vaccuum. Tomorrow morning EI will turn on cryo pumps. Sometime
around noon the ring should be ready for injection.

Shifts are ON from 12 noon Saturday.

We start with 100mA on empty cell. When the vaccuum is good enough, the
ABS will be turned on and we'll measure the polarization with the original
cell at 100mA.

The mechanical installation of the leadglass detector is complete.
Still, cabling work needs to be carried out, and tested. The HV cards are
still to arrive. One card (three are needed) is expected to arrive
Monday and to be installed with next snake filling, which will allow for
testing the new HVGUI. Will know Monday or Tuesday when the remaining
cards arrive.

Doug remains run coordinator until Wednesday.

Regards,

   Michael
